Timber Connection was formed in 1991 by current Managing Director, Danny Catherall. Originally established as a Hardwood Agent & Broker the business has grown to be one of the leading distributors of timber within the Industry. Whilst still remaining loyal to its humble beginnings, the company’s main activities today are based upon its commitment to carrying an extensive range of products upon which you can rely. With an Inventory in excess of £6 Million we pride ourselves on the fact that we can deliver most orders anywhere on the UK mainland within 2 days and given an extra day we’ll even ship it to Ireland! Such quick turnaround is made possible by replicating stocks in both London and Liverpool. This commitment is due to our recognition that in today’s market, more so than ever the customer wants to buy what they need and when they need it. This is the basis of our success today and we will continue to set the standards for the service we think our customers deserve.

What do we do?
Timber Connection holds one of the most comprehensive stocks of Hardwoods and Clear Grade Softwoods from producing countries around the world. Our customer base covers the UK, Ireland & extends to mainland Europe. Buyers can purchase anything from one pack of timber to a full load or more. We also have an active Agency desk that allows Importers to purchase their volume requirements from our selective producers directly at source.
What areas of the world do we import from?
We import various Temperate Hardwoods from Europe and North America. Our Tropical Hardwoods come from the Far East, West Africa and South America. Our Clear Grade Softwoods are shipped out of North America & Europe.
What products do we offer?
Timber Connection offers a variety of Timber Products ranging from Sawn Lumber in random widths & lengths to wide boards, special lengths, Fixed dimension & Parallel Ripped material. We also offer a wide selection of Hardwood Mouldings, Decking, and Cedar Shingles. We have one of the largest stocks of Certified Timbers in the UK.
