International Hardwood Conference

On the 15th-17th November, Keeley Baker combined a trip to Italy visiting European Oak suppliers with attending the International Hardwood Conference in Venice. The conference had a wealth of industry experts discussing past, present and future business opportunities and challenges we face worldwide. It was an informative day which covered a detailed analysis of the international hardwood market and various topics including sustainability, legality and innovation. The event provided a greater understanding of the hardwood market and was a good opportunity for valuable networking. Timber Connection were amongst only a few UK based companies that attended.
